From Scruffy to Fluffy

Sarah celebrated her 12th birthday recently, and asked would we tie a ribbon bow around Miley's (the birthday puppy) neck on the special day. We decided to also get her 'birthday puppy' a shampoo cut & blow-dry for the event, and are very grateful to C&L for the contact number of a wonderfully capable and friendly dog groomer. As you will see by the photos, the difference in looks was extraordinary...

Isn't it hard to believe she is the same dog? As mentioned in a previous post, a Cavoodle is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle - but who would have thought this poshy poodle was hiding under our beloved and delightfully sweet, scruffy pup? A friend described the transformation as, "from Scruff to Fluff" and I thought that was so apt! Sarah really liked the poodle look, and wants to keep Miley clipped in this fashion, but the rest of the family think it should be reserved for special occasions, as we do prefer the original scruffy bundle.
